- Description
This font once got a LOT of use around here. At one time, I did headwear for submariners on a daily basis, and this font was the one that stitched the name of the sub above the dolphins, and the hull number below. You know those caps you see with the large bulky lettering? Well, this one served me well in doing those for many years.
These days, I still use it for military and police name tags for uniforms. They seem to like it because it’s so bold and highly readable, even at a distance. The push-pull of the thread is already accounted for in the font itself, and it seldom needs any sort of pull comp at all.
This is a handy keyboard font for Wilcom users of version 8 and above.
