For monogram borders that don't scream a particular decorating style, I'm thinking this set of three could go just about any way, depending on the colors and interior font one uses. It could be soft and flowery, or it could be strong and geometric, ya think?

This set of three have the following stitch counts.

5 inch: 18,091 stitches
4 inch: 12,519 stitches
3 inch: 7,880 stitches

There are NO trims between all the little dots. Mainly because I would go out of my mind listening to the machine starting and stopping incessantly like that. Plus, it would likely throw teensy loops as it starts up, and run over them... which is more of a PIA to pick out and trim than just trimming by hand in the first place. Such are my thoughts, anyway.
