- Description
Last week I designed and produced a ttf/otf font family with the ultimate intention of using it as a basis for a monogram that would be both elaborate and elegant. When everything was finished, and I actually had it on a machine, I was really delighted with the way it came out.
This Wilcom keyboard font is based on my new font family, available on MyFonts.com. It is digitized as a 3-color keyboard font for Wilcom users running version 8 and up, and is to be used in as-digitized mode. (Found on the sequence menu, do not change it to closest join!) All the underlay and color changes are in place, so working with it is a cinch because you need only type in your letters at the correct sizes, and send the file to a machine.
I highly recommend that this font be used at sizes ranging between 2″ and 3″ as illustrated above, or in any configuration of those sizes, but it stitches out beautifully within those guidelines. I believe we have a winner here.
